Designing for Maine's Largest Community Event
Bangor Pride is one of Central Maine’s most anticipated annual events. I led concept, art direction, and execution of a multi-channel brand system supporting the large-scale public event with thousands of attendees.
Accessibility and Inclusion as Design Priorities
The 2024 Bangor Pride Festival was larger than it ever was, with almost double the amount of local vendors. I delivered consistent visual communication across print, digital, merchandise, signage, and web while coordinating with organizers, sponsors, and external partners.
Largest Pride Event in Central Maine
The Bangor Pride Parade & Festival 2024 was the largest Pride event the city had hosted to date, with attendance estimated at 7,000 people. While the growth of the event reflects multiple factors, volunteers reported that the accessibility of the platform consistency at a scale not previously required for the organization.
